Important News and Events

Following a special meeting of the Board of Education on Monday, April 19, 2010, the proposed budget for the 2010-2011 school year has been adopted. The text of the budget is found on the "Budget 2010-11 Information" page. The budget will be voted on at the May 11th Budget Vote and Trustee Election.

Please attend one of these Budget-related events listed below.

Budget Hearing at Administation Building on Tuesday, April 27, 7:30pm
Budget Forum at Pomona Middle School on Monday, May 3, 7:00pm
Budget Forum at Chestnut Ridge Middle School on Tuesday, May 4, 7:00pm

The Annual Budget and School Board Trustee vote will be held on

Tuesday, May 11th, 2010, 7am - 10pm

Please note that this year, because of a religious holiday, the vote in East Ramapo is a week earlier than the votes held in other school districts in the county.

LEADERSHIP - by leading all district PTA units
ADVICE - providing suggestions and assistance
INFORMATION - National, State, and district-wide policies and information
ACTION - the council can step in to help resolve problems
